信越有机硅油通常是无色透明的液体，具有非常优异的热稳定性，耐寒性，耐水性。有机硅油粘度变化非常小即使在大幅度的温差范围内，同时具有良好的导电性。此外，有机硅油还兼具普通矿物油和合成油所没有的脱模性，疏水性，消泡性等特性。

resistance
silicone oils have very good thermal stability against thermal oxidation.
hardiness
silicone oils have very good cold resistance. Phenyl silicone oil for cold resistance has good fluidity even at temperatures as low as -65°C.
viscosity stability
silicone oil viscosity varies very little, over a wide humidity range from low to high temperatures.
chemical stability
silicone chemical stability is very inactive, and at room temperature, the chemical properties are almost unaffected in less than 10% alkaline aqueous solution and less than 30% acid aqueous solution.
corrosiveness and effect on other materials
silicone oil has almost no adverse effects on many materials represented by metals.
surface tension
compared to water and synthetic oils in general, silicone oil has very little surface tension.
