Principal Agent (Polymer)
reactive silicone polymers are the basis of DEHESIVE® release systems. With an additive curing system, vinyl DEHESIVE® primer (polymer) has release properties and fast curing properties. Chain length, structure, and number of reactive groups are key parameters to measure the properties of the reticulum, as well as to determine the release effect and release force curve. The dense mesh structure makes the release force less affected by the peeling speed, so the release force curve is also flat.
crosslinker
during curing, silicon-hydrogen-bonded organosiloxanes act as crosslinking agents, interacting with DEHESIVE master agents® and CRAs® to form release coatings. The type and amount of the crosslinker have a very important impact on the reaction speed of the system, the adhesion of the coating to the substrate, and the interaction with the adhesive. Therefore, crosslinkers are key determinants for cost-effective production and long-term stability of compounds.
> catalyst
use platinum catalysts to increase the reaction speed. WACKER's catalyst is a highly reactive platinum complex that ensures that DEHESIVE's® master and crosslinker cure quickly at processing temperatures as low as 85°C. The key to achieving cost-effective coatings is to determine the amount of platinum used based on specific curing conditions.
peel force control agent—CRA®
CRA® peel force control agents play a decisive role in custom peel force formulations: they determine the magnitude of the release force.

significant advantage
release coatings contain silicone components developed by WACKER specifically for the production of silicone release liners and release films. Its chemical structure gives it exceptional release properties. As a result, the substrate on which the DEHESIVE® release system is coated can be easily separated from the adhesive every time. In addition, DEHESIVE® silicones have excellent leveling characteristics during processing and cure quickly.

DEHESIVE® release system covers three major product categories: solvent-free system, solvent-based system, and emulsion system. You can rely on the three product categories for performance, functionality, and ease of processing.
flexible system
DEHESIVE® product range is designed for flexible formulations and can therefore be customized to the coating process and application. The four basic system components – polymers, crosslinkers, catalysts, and peel force controllers – can be formulated accordingly to achieve the release force required for the specific application. The reactivity of the system can be adjusted to the actual curing temperature and production speed.
