Corning's conformal coatings include three basic products, with the new product, room temperature curing elastomeric coatings, designed to cure quickly to very quickly at room temperature into soft, stress-relieving materials; the other category, room temperature curing elastoplastic coatings, are traditional or solvent-based coatings that do not destroy the ozone layer, which can provide good anti-wear protection; The third category, solvent-free heat-curing coatings, are fast-curing one-component coatings that are soft and provide excellent protection materials for stress relief. All conformal coatings contain ultraviolet display agents, which can be used to inspect the coatings.
