Merck laser sensitive pigments are easy to incorporate into plastic formulations. Depending on the composition of the polymer, the resulting markings may be: dark – the surrounding polymer is carbonized; Bright color – the surrounding polymer is foamed. If you decide to use powdered pigments, we generally recommend adding them to masterbatches or mixes before adding them to your products.
